I want to announce the return of the website as well as this new blog. I hope that many of you may find your way back. For newly arriving surfers a short history on IcyHotHunks. I actually started the website in January 1999 as an experiment. Slowly the website grew and evolved and by January 2006 there were over 8000 images and 5000 active users.
I decided NOT to simply restore the old website to its former glory that was archived in January 2006. Too much time passed. The software that supported the back end underwent major revisions. All the software that supports the website is now the most recent release. I have made a lot of progress and I am happy with the results.
The gallery and forums are operating and I have restored just over 1200 photos out of the 8000+ that used to be online. Every photo is being reviewed. Some will not make the cut this time. Computers and monitors have evolved and many images now look tiny. My philosophy has not changed. I strive not to be the biggest, just the best — a quiet little gem on the web.

I was one of those numerous heartbroken souls when you guys announced the shut down of the site. Now I just can’t find words to express how happy I feel to know that you guys are back, alive and kicking!
I was also one of those heartbroken souls that became devastated when you closed the site in 2006. I’m also part of the group that migrated to a Yahoo! Group named IcyHotMen (in dedication to your IcyHotHunks), which is still going strong and still has many of the original registered members of your first IcyHotHunks. You have a whole crowd of followers in the IcyHotMen Yahoo Group!
As a member of IcyHotMen on Yahoo I would like to say welcome back. Loved your old site & I am looking forward to this new one.
Welcome back. I am considering adding back a Message Forum but I am not really sure if one is needed or desired at this time.
Wow I had no idea I had such an impact. I am glad you guys found a way to continue even without the original website. I am honored.
